Peasant and the Pear Chef's Corner Video This month we made PAELLA DE LA TIERRA with Executive Chef Rodney Worth of The Peasant and the Pear in Downtown Danville, CA. The PAELLA DE LA TIERRA is made with Roasted chicken, Portugese sausage, & Santo Tomas rice cooked in Spanish saffron broth with roasted red peppers, onions, garlic & peas. Bridges Restaurant Chef's Corner Video This month we are at Bridges Restaurant & Bar in Danville, CA. Executive Chef Kevin Jin shows us how to make Stir Fry Prawns with Thai Red Curry, Indonesian Soy and Coconut Milk Sauce and Vietnamese Prawn & Pork Wraps. In it's 18-year history, Bridges has received many accolades and awards, including being honored as one of Diablo magazine's "Seven Best Restaurants in the East Bay". Pans on Fire Chef's Corner Video Welcome back to Tri-Valley, California's Chef's Corner! This month we visited Pans on Fire in Pleasanton, CA. Pans on Fire is a gourmet cookware retail store offering recreational cooking classes at 310-B Main Street. Owner and Cooking Class Instructor, Linda Wyner shows us a how to make a fantastic and easy appetizer, Smoked Salmon with white chocolate cream cheese and red onion marmalade. Then, she made a pan seared Herb Crusted Pork Tenderloin served with a balsamic reduction. Along the way we learned some great tricks from one of Pleasanton's premier cooking instructors.
